About & contact

I’m a senior creative and design leader with more than two decades of experience helping organizations shape how they look, communicate, and work. My background spans enterprise brand systems, editorial and product experiences, corporate reporting, and complex communications, with leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, The New York Times, VSA Partners, Synchrony, and NPR.

I work comfortably between strategy and execution—clarifying the problem, establishing a strong creative direction, and building the systems, tools, and teams needed to carry the work forward. I’ve led multidisciplinary groups, partnered with senior stakeholders, and helped complex organizations create work that remains coherent across audiences, channels, and real-world constraints.

I’m drawn to work that feels simple without being simplistic—clear enough to understand, flexible enough to use, and distinctive enough to remember. I value thoughtful collaboration, direct communication, and design that continues to work after the presentation is over.

I’m based in Katonah, New York, with my wife and our four children. Away from work, I’m usually reading, writing, drawing, making things, exploring new creative tools, or developing overly elaborate tabletop games with my son.

I’m currently open to senior creative leadership roles, consulting engagements, and project collaborations.

I have chosen Untitled Sans for the site's typography.
