Publishing does not have to be a performance of certainty.
It can be a way of making thought available: edited enough to respect the reader, open enough to admit that the thinking may continue.
- Keep the claim proportional to what you know.
- Name the evidence you actually have.
- Leave uncertainty visible when it matters.
- Leave room for revision.
- Prefer a useful sentence over a dramatic conclusion.
The publish button can be a quiet threshold instead of a stage.
